Bentley – This lovely Bentley has undergone a great deal of preparation work to bring it back to health. Recommissioning the bodywork has taken many months to reach the current stage. This included numerous repairs to the metal body and many imperfections have been sorted out. There is still some way to go before the car is ready for a re-trim and we then look forward to seeing this car once more back on the road.

With all the repairs that have taken place it is important to make sure all the panels sit correctly back on the car, which is not always as easy as it sounds.

Curve appeal (otherwise known as curb appeal).
It’s interesting to see how cars of this era were made and put together. Clearly weight reduction was not a priority at a hefty 2.5 tonnes and 130 horse power.
Large heavy parts requiring a great deal of attention to get right.
Despite the high overall weight, it is surprising how much movement there is on a car of this size. Panel gaps on this car will however, be better than ever, but it takes a great deal of time and effort to make sure everything lines up correctly.
