Lotus – respray

Project Overview

Lotus Esprit – full respray to same colour with minimal parts to be removed. This is because some parts are now difficult to obtain and the customer also wanted to keep the vehicle as original as possible.

Detailed marking up of areas requiring extra attention.

A great deal of masking off was required to prepare and respray this car, whilst making sure the overspray didn’t reach even those bits of the car which do not often get seen.

Well on the way.

The hard work has now been completed and we start to move on towards the finishing process. This involves a number of stages and is finished off with a polish.

Ready to roll.

This was a challenging car to paint because we did all the panels in situ and had to prevent any overspray. We are however, very pleased with the results and the customer was delighted. The car has now left us for some trimming work to be carried out.
